Kopa - The Adventurous One

Here's my ref sheet for my version of Simba and Nala's eldest son - Kopa!!  

Name: Kopa (pronounced "cope-pa", name means "heart" (the card suit) in Swahili)
Gender: Male
Age: Shown here as a cub and a young adult.
Species: African Lion

Parents: Simba and Nala
Siblings: Kurai (half), Nadra (half), Kiara, Kion and Aisha (If you don't know about them, check out this link: <da:thumb id="494872416">)
Mate: Timira (Kula's daughter)
Cubs: Not yet

Personality: Kopa looks - and acts - a lot like his father - he is just as mischievous, cocky and adventurous as Simba when he was a cub! However, he is also slightly more like his mother in personality - he is also a playful and rather spirited cub as well!! As he gets to adulthood, Kopa becomes more mature and responsible, but is still rather adventurous and spirited.

History: Kopa was the first-born cub of Simba and Nala, and he and his twin sister, Kiara, were presented as heirs shortly after they were born, with Kopa being presented as Future King. Their births marked the end of the so-called "Dark Reign", refering to the reign of Simba's uncle, Scar - but when Zira (Scar's mate) found out about the births, she was willing to kill Kopa, since he was the first-born and heir. Fearing that Zira would kill their son, the King and Queen decided that the best they could do to keep him away from Zira was to bethroth him to a female cub his age from another pride. The time came to leave when Kopa was a cub, and he even relinquished his role as heir to his younger twin sister, Kiara. Kopa was betrothed to Timira, the daughter of Kula, a close friend of Simba and Nala's, at the "Coast Lands", which (in my headcanon) is where Kula and some of Simba and Nala's other friends (including Kula's twin brother, Chumvi) migrated to near the end of the Dark Reign. (The Coast Lands were also Sarabi's birthplace - in my theory, at least.) Kopa and Timira became fast friends, and they often bonded and hung out together. This friendship continued when they were teens, and by the time they were young adults, they were allowed to leave the Coast Lands whenever they wanted to do so. The first chance they got, Kopa and Timira took the long journey back to Pride Rock to visit Kopa's long-lost family. By that time, Kiara had become Queen, and had heirs of her own. Kopa also found out that he and Kiara had two younger siblings, Kion and Aisha - both of whom had been born before Kovu, Kiara's mate, became King - and that Kion was leader of the "Lion Guard". Kopa was happy to see his parents and sister again - and also to meet his little siblings and his nieces and nephews for the first time! Kopa was happy to see Kiara as Queen at last, and although he and Timira are very happy to live together in the Coat Lands, they still visit the Royal Family every once in a while.

As you can see, my version of Kopa is a balanced mix of his parents. His appearance doesn't change much - although he develops a light nose gradient and elbow tufts by the time he becomes a teenager. Remember, this is my version of him, so if you don't agree this, I respect your opinions. (Note to animenerd26: Before you say I copied your headcanon, I was actually inspired by your headcanon. Please respect that.)
