All the Cubs of Simba and Nala

Yup, I just thought I'd take a little break from my next-generation characters. After some thought, I've decided to upload this little pic of all the cubs of King Simba and Queen Nala in my headcanon. Between them, they have six cubs - four from their marriage, one from Simba and one from Nala. It kinda looks like a lot, don't you think?

So, from oldest to youngest, from left to right, we have:

Kurai (OC, name meaning "about" or "dark" in Japanese), the daughter of Simba and a lioness from a neighbouring pride, born at the time when Simba still lived in the jungle with Timon and Pumbaa. After being allowed to explore the jungle (according to Timon, there are no rules in the jungle!), Simba bumped into a young lioness. They briefly courted each other during Simba's stay, but when he found she was expecting his cub, they just decided to be friends, and Simba went back home to Timon and Pumbaa shortly after. (NOTE: This is a short time before Nala meets Simba in the jungle.) Kurai was the resulting cub, and looked mostly like her father, with a little hint of her mother in her as well. Kurai never knew her father, but her mother told her about him when she was a cub.

Nadra (OC, name meaning "radiance" in Arabic, according to BehindtheName.com), the daughter of Nala and Chumvi, born shortly before Nala left the Pridelands and met Simba in the jungle. When Mufasa died, and Simba was exiled (believed by the others at the time to be dead), Nala was at a loss, and began a close friendship with Chumvi and Kula. (In my AU, Kula and Chumvi are twins.) Even when Nala became an adult, she still missed Simba, and Chumvi comforted her - but that comfortation accidentally became an affair, and at least four months later, Nala gave birth to a cub - a girl who she named "Nadra". When Nadra was a cub, however, Chumvi left the Pridelands, and took Nadra with her. Nala hopes that someday, she reunites with her long-lost daughter. (Although Nadra looks more like her mother, she also has a bit of her father in her as well - her tawny-brown pelt is a perfect blend of her parents, and she has her father's brownish-red eyes. Her dark-brown ear rims come from Chumvi's side.)

Kopa (Semi-canon, name meaning "heart" - the card suit, not the organ - in Swahili), the son of Simba and Nala, and the older brother to Kiara, Kion and Aisha. Kopa was the first-born cub of Simba and Nala, and was born shortly before his twin sister Kiara. Shortly after his presentation as Future King, his parents decided to betroth him to a female his age from another pride, and when he is old enough (when he is a cub), he is sent to the Coast Lands and bethrothed to Kula's daughter. (Despite the fact that Kopa looks almost exactly like his father, he also slightly resembles his mother - his pelt is a tawnyish-gold in colour, and he has Nala's teal eyes and colourless paws. His nose is a slightly darker version of his father's when he was a cub. He also has a chocolate-brown hairtuft/mane and tailtuft, the former becomes two-toned when he becomes an adult.)

Kiara (Canon, name has various different meanings, most notably "small and dark" in Irish), the daughter of Simba and Nala, the Princess (later Queen) of the Pridelands, the younger twin to Kopa, and the older sister of Kion and Aisha. When she is a cub, Kiara goes to the Outlands and meets an Outsider cub, a handsome cub named Kovu. After a close call with some crocodiles, they become fast friends, but are eventually caught by Zira and Simba, and taken back to their respective homes. Kiara is taken back to Pride Rock, where she learns that being Queen is in her bloodline. Years later, when she is a late teen/young adult, she ends up in a fire on her first hunt, but is saved by Kovu. When he is exiled, Kiara is devestated, and meets up with him, and they fall in love. Shortly after, they help reunite the Pridelanders with the Outsiders. They eventually become King and Queen, and have three cubs together - Amira, Chaka and Shani. (NOTE: I modified her design a little - her nose is now more film-accurate. Her appearence doesn't change much from cub to adult - the only noticeable difference is that she develops a dark nose gradient.)

Kiongozi, a.k.a. "Kion" (Canon, his short name has various different meanings like Kiara's does, his full name means "leader" in Swahili), the third child of Simba and Nala, leader of the Lion Guard, the younger brother of Kopa and Kiara, and the older brother of Aisha. When he was a cub, he found out that his sister was the future Queen, since she was the eldest. He was slightly disappointed, but his father knew his son had to have his own title, other than just being a simple Prince - he made Kion the leader of the newly-named "Lion Guard". Kion recruits various different animals, including Fuli the cheetah, a honey badger and even a hippo! Kion loves his job, and remains leader of the Guard until he grows too old, after which, he names his daughter - named after his big sister - the Guard's new leader. (NOTE: This is all subject to change as new information on The Lion Guard is revealed. I also modified his look a little - I gave him a more-film accurate pelt by mixing cub Simba's pelt with adult Nala's pelt. I also made his mane a two-toned mane and tailtuft, consisting of two shades of his father's adult mane/tailtuft colour. His nose is now a darker shade of Mufasa's, and he also now has a light nose gradient. I also changed his eyewhites from white to a more film-accurate yellow. Much of his other features are intact, including his leg spots, coloured paws, pawprint marking (which I made a mud marking) ear marking, and orange eyes.)

Aisha (OC, name meaning "lively" in Arabic), the youngest daughter and lastborn cub of Simba and Nala, and the younger sister of Kopa, Kiara and Kion. Her birth came as a surprise to the entire pride - especially to her parents - but they quickly thought she was a perfect little cub, and she grew to be a happy, youthful and very lively little cub. Aisha can also be a little girly and curious at times, and like her mother, is also very playful and spirited - but she also has Nala's pinning talents! She became a great aunt to her nieces and nephew - and also became somewhat of an motherly figure to Vitani's young daughter, Hila. Even as an adult, she is still youthful and lively - but she also becomes more mature and motherly, a little like her paternal grandmother, Sarabi. She also bears some resemblance to her maternal grandmother, Sarafina - as she has her eye colour! She also looks up to her older sister, Kiara, and she is closer to her than she is to her brother! As an adult, she especially likes to hang out with her oldest niece, Amira! (NOTE: Like her big sister, her appearence doesn't really change that much into adulthood - in fact, she retains her mother's beauty even into adulthood!)

(UPDATE: I slightly redesigned Kopa and gave him a new bio - I thought it was stupid to make him Kula's son!! I like him better as Nala's son, don't you agree?  )
